In addition to his extensive private sector career, Michael has served as a White House speechwriter to President George H. W. Bush, a senior aide to former New Jersey Governor and 9/11 Commission Chairman Tom Kean (R-NJ), and a senior United States Senate aide to U.S. Senator Olympia Snowe. (R-ME). Michael began his career as a policy analyst at the Washington, D.C.-based Heritage Foundation Policy Review and as an editor of the foundation's scholarly magazine,

Michael has written for The Wall Street Journal, The Christian Science Monitor, National Review, and other national media. He has appeared on CBS News, PBS, CNBC, C-SPAN, Al Jazeera, Fox Morning News, and other networks.

Michael is a graduate of the University of Miami, where he majored in economics and graduated with honors.

He resides in Deptford, New Jersey and Emmaus, Pennsylvania.

Dear Editor, 
   In recent weeks Mr. Ray Peck has had multiple letters published in our local paper.  He lists himself from Helena and thus I am not sure why he feels the need to submit his opinion to the residents of Granite County.  However, given his multiple questions within his letters I would like to take a moment to move past political punditry, and focus not on a tautological opinion, but on an educated analysis.
     Mr. Peck implied that "right wing folks back east" have complained of being maligned by the process used to pass health care reform, which I might add, is not health care reform,

What does America really think about all this???

"Smart Growth America" has just released the results of it's national opinion survey titled "Building for the 21st Century: America's Support for Sustainable Communities"

This poll showed some startling results if you only listen to Mainstream Media and the Government line. The biggest surprise is that the general public wants the government, regardless of political affiliation, to stop spending money the country doesn't have, become more energy independent, and support the growth of communities.


 In the Overview of this report it is also noted that:


"A recent poll by Smart Growth America has found that in the midst of a struggling
U.S. economy, support for smart growth strategies remains high among Americans
on both sides of the aisle.
The poll focused specifically on support for sustainable communities: urban,
suburban or rural communities that have more housing and transportation choices,
are closer to jobs, shops or schools, are more energy independent and help protect
clean air and water. Making communities more sustainable means generating more

What Public Employee Leaders Could Be Saying (But Aren't)

Public employees and their leaders could publicly recognize the structural and demographic changes in the U.S. economy, and vow to tax the top 1% instead of supporting terribly regressive junk fees and sales tax increases on the working poor and the middle class tax donkeys who pay most of the taxes. The fact that they refuse to acknowledge these realities and refuse to take on the Financial Elites speaks volumes.
Here's what representatives of public-sector unions and public employees could be saying, instead of what they are saying:

There are over 20 million Federal, state and local government employees, and about 106 million private sector workers. We work for you, and for the good of our communities and of the nation. That is a big responsibility. Back in the stock market bubble of 1995 to 1999, our wages, pensions and benefits were "sweetened," sometimes administratively and sometimes with voter approval. In the years since, what looked at the time like it would be paid by stock market gains rather than additional taxes has been revealed as wishful thinking.
We recognize that the U.S. economy has changed structurally, and it cannot return to 1999. We also recognize that the demographics of the nation have irrevocably changed since 1999, and thus it is wrong to burden future workers with pension and benefit costs which only made sense in an era of stock prices rising 10% or more annually.
In response to the shortfall between what we were granted in 1995-1999 and what the "new normal" recessionary economy can support, state and local governments have aggressively raised the most terribly regressive taxes: junk fees--parking tickets, vehicle license fees, and so on--and sales taxes.
These taxes are paid by everyone, rich and poor alike, and so they are deeply regressive.
Most of the Federal and state income taxes are paid by upper-middle class workers and small business, including sole proprietors and independent contractors. Almost 40% of all workers--those with lower incomes--pay no income tax at all. The top 1%, meanwhile, pay on average about 17% of their income in total taxes--less than half the rate paid by upper-middle class wage earners.
We understand that roughly two-thirds of the nation's households are measurably poorer in income and assets than they were a few short years ago. We understand that gains in productivity have not flowed to the incomes of most private-sector workers, but have instead flowed to the top via corporate profits and bonuses to the top slice of private-sector employees.
We also understand that the American workforce is aging, and that demographics are dictating that we as a nation need to work longer if our retirement plans are to remain solvent.
In recognition of these realities, we in the public sector are voluntarily renouncing all the "sweeteners" which were awarded during the bubble years of 1995-1999, as they have been revealed as unaffordable. Our retirement and benefits will revert to the base year of 1995, before the bubble distorted the system and the economy, and be adjusted for inflation since then as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
In recognition of the nation's demographic realities, we are moving our retirement age up to those of the Social Security system: 62 for reduced benefits and 67 for full retirement benefits.
We understand that raising "stealth taxes" via junk fees and highly regressive sales taxes places great burdens on households which are already straining to make ends meet.
As a result, we are putting our political weight behind an alternative way to bolster state and local government finances: "make the top 1% pay the same tax rate as the rest of us." If the top 1% paid the same 40% rate as higher-income workers pay, then that would only be equitable.
We will also fight to reverse the regressive increases in sales taxes and junk fees which have been imposed on those least able to afford more taxes.
The super-wealthy--those households with incomes above $1 million annually, and with financial assets above $5 million-- are the most politically powerful group in the nation, and so getting them to pay the same tax rates as we pay will be a difficult battle. They own or control the political class, the tax attorneys, the tax-avoidance scams and the offshore accounts.
But taking more money from households who are struggling to get by with highly regressive taxes and junk fees is simply wrong, just as it is unjust that the super-wealthy avoid paying the same tax rates that ordinary workers pay.
We ask for your support in this campaign to reverse regressive taxes and make the top 1% pay the same tax rate as the rest of us.

What is not being said is this: public employees are dependent on, and benefit from, the State's monopoly to collect taxes and fees via coercion. Private-sector workers cannot rely on a coercive monopoly to extract their wages from others. This is the key difference between the public and private sectors. To the degree that junk fees and taxes have been raised administratively by a political class that is beholden to the super-wealthy Financial Elites and cartel-State fiefdoms, then the imposition of regressive junk fees and other taxes is taxation without representation, i.e. tyranny.
Public employees benefit from this tyranny, private-sector workers do not. That is a key difference between the two.
Given that the political class only represents cartel-State fiefdoms and Financial Elites, then the only taxes which aren't a form of tyranny are those approved by voters.
While there is always a danger of "the tyranny of the majority" in the ballot box, it is certainly less tyrannical than administratively imposing regressive taxes and exorbitant junk fees on the working poor and the middle class tax donkeys.
The consent of the governed (and thus of the taxed) can be revoked at any time.

There’s just one problem.  Olympia Snowe is not a Democrat.  That’s right, Snowe has made a career out of trampling all over conservatives while calling herself a Republican.

If this sounds bizarre, don’t worry – you’re not alone. Many in the media are wondering why Olympia Snowe still claims to be a Republican.  The Atlantic writes: “Snowe has established a reputation as one of the least reliable Republican votes in the Senate.” An article in Slate recently said, “Joining the Democrats wouldn't force Snowe to change her voting habits too much and it would liberate her from the increasingly uncompromising demands of the GOP base.” Even the Washington Post speculated that she may switch sides like Benedict Arnold Arlen Specter, asking, “What are Snowe's options? One possibility would be for Snowe to defect to the Democratic Party.”

We at Tea Party Express have no respect for career politicians like Snowe who claim to represent us, but stab us in the back every chance they get.  That is why we have launched a campaign to Shovel Snowe Out of the Senate!

This began with the "Jesuit Liberation Theology", that brought an end to the Somoza Family rule in Nicaragua, and which today is destroying El Salvador, now 25 years into a "civil war". Costa Rica and Honduras are also embroiled in revolutionary activities, instigated by the Jesuits. One very active entity engaged in the so-called liberation theology, is the Communist-oriented Mary Knoll Mission. This accounts for the extensive media attention to the murder of four of Mary Knoll's so-called nuns in El Salvador a few years ago. The four nuns were Communist subversive agents and their activities were widely documented by the Government of El Salvador. The US press and the new media refused to give any space or coverage to the mass of documentation possessed by the Salvadorian Government, which proved what the Mary Knoll Mission nuns were doing in the country. Mary Knoll is in service in many countries, and placed a leading role in bringing Communism to Rhodesia, Moçambique, Angola and South Africa.

To cause. by means of limited wars in the advanced countries, by means of starvation and diseases in the Third World countries, the death of three billion people by the year 2050, people they call "useless eaters". The Committee of 300 (Illuminati) commissioned Cyrus Vance to write a paper on this subject of how to bring about such genocide. The paper was produced under the title "Global 2000 Report" and was accepted and approved for action by former President James Earl Carter, and Edwin Muskie, then Secretary of States, for and on behalf of the US Government. Under the terms of the Global 2000 Report, the population of the US is to be reduced by 100 million by the year of 2050.
10. To weaken the moral fiber of the nation and to demoralize workers in the labor class by creating mass unemployment. As jobs dwindle due to the post industrial zero growth policies introduced by the Club of Rome, the report envisages demoralized and discouraged workers resorting to alcohol and drugs. The youth of the land will be encouraged by means of rock music and drugs to rebel against the status quo, thus undermining and eventually destroying the family unit. In this regard, the Committee commissioned Tavistock Institute to prepare a blueprint as to how this could be achieved. Tavistock directed Stanford Research to undertake the work under the direction of Professor Willis Harmon. This work later became known as the "Aquarian Conspiracy".
11. To keep people everywhere from deciding their own destinies by means of one created crisis after another and then "managing" such crises. This will confuse and demoralize the population to the extent where faced with too many choices, apathy on a massive scale will result. In the case of the US, an agency for Crisis Management is already in place. It is called the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), whose existence I first enclosed in 1980.

1. To establish a One World Government/New World Order with a unified church and monetary system under their direction. 8. To suppress all scientific development except for those deemed beneficial by the Illuminati. Especially targeted is nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. Particularly hated are the fusion experiments currently being scorned and ridiculed by the Illuminati and its jackals of the press. Development of the fusion torch would blow the Illuminati's conception of "limited natural resources" right out of the window. Exciting Possibility- Conservative Internet Radio Network

We have been busy...very busy...we decided a couple of weeks ago to start an internet radio station complete with daily shows and music...and then a friend approached us about an exciting possibility...an entire Conservative Internet Radio Network. This is not going to be a run-of-the-mill operation. If it works out this will be a state of the art, full scale, professional Network with professional grade equipment and corporate sponsors. In the end it will provide a Huge-Mongous megaphone, in a growing industry, for the Conservative point of view to be shouted to our country. Introduction to Government 101

When you started employment did anyone really explain to you, FICA, FUDA, SUDA, AND WHERE THE HELL YOUR TAXES WENT? Did any one explain to you that each and every week, your payroll department would hand over up to 40 % of your check... each and every single week?  Then  was it explained to you that you had two options...

1. Do nothing and have no clue where that money is going, how it is spent, who benefits from it. Oh and by the way... there is no residual or interest on your “ loan”. The receiver has no incentive, other than the vein hooked up to the main, to pay you back. The incentive is to to run to cash that government check (oops... your check) to buy next addiction and suck the life out of you. A constant "freeze your brain train money train" self entitlement shopping spree on anyone’s dime but their own. No end in sight, no crime to fight, that is the way the FOG FOLLOWERS LEAD OTHERS TO THE KOOL AID …

2.  Where you told of the other option? The other option is to become a Patriot American... A Card Carrying Informed American Citizen... God Fearing God Loving.... Self informed and Self Declared... born of this country, or legally immigrated here, with the American Core Values and Fundamental Beliefs that brings us all together as Americans. We drive our selves and the Big Girl with a foundation of Love of our Founding Father’s. We support and uphold our Girl and what She has stood for, Capitalism, Industry and Democracy. Paying full mind, and VOTE, to our Self Sufficient, Self Reliant Survivalist Capitalist beginnings. To participate in running a Country with true Clear Vision of the Mission. To defend a long held ideal and fight to cut the self-entitled from the Main Vein... to create a New Independence Day. 

Why would you shut down, give up? Why would you turn a blind eye and give up your voice. Who took away your voice?... Who convinced you that you had no power. When did you give up and why?  Did you declare you just were treated unfair and did not understand the rules? That is a VICTIM attitude.

I ask of you, those who have taken cover and refuse to stand and deliver...who refuse to fight for the rights and privileges you have as an American citizen... PLEASE STAND AND DELIVER... LOCK AND LOAD... YOU HOLD THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL IN YOUR HANDS TO SUPPORT OR DESTROY.  ONE WOULD ASK AT  A DANCE, "REALLY?... YOU LEFT HER AT THE CURB?  YOU DITCHED HER FOR THE CHEAP SKIRT?... FOR THE SHORT AND EASY INSTEAD OF THE GREATER GLORY OF THE HARD FOUGHT??? LOVE GLORY AND FREEDOM...

Economics and Government 101

When you were growing up did you fantasize of the freedoms your parents had as you sat and watched the t.v shows after a long day of playing outside. Remember those days when you played outside all day and dreaded going home because too much fun was to be had running with your friends? We of that era had those day’s but we also had a link to the By Gone Era... to the one’s who knew what it was like to work hard and have little and to be proud of the Core Values and Foundations that they stood for and built upon. There was no immediate gratification, no fast lane speed lane sane lane. There were no Bubbles and Ponzi Schemes and no take you down into the back seat, hell back door Van Floor, kill you as fast as Grab your Ass.  There was a sense of some security behind and in front of the Big Girl. We did not Fear our President nor the government. We feared real fears Communism, Socialism, and dictatorship. What are our real fears today in our own back yard, Communism, Socialism and Dictatorship?

A message to Team Bella from Bella Dangelo

Dear Team Bella,

I just wanted to thank everyone for your help, guidance and interest. I have never embarked on such a huge vision. I am learning as I am going. I am grateful to have been connected to all of you and have learned much from you all. If there is anything that I can do to give back let me know. Pay it forward.

One valuable lesson learned out of the starting gate. New team members will disagree, the most professional approach is "One on One" to resolve the conflict. One also needs to question motives when we are publicly attacked.

Also, I have no problem with criticism and questions, ask me anything. I stand beside, along and in front of me. I hide from nothing and have nothing to hide from. I am unedited, raw and gutsy as hell. There is only truth on this one's tattoo...

God Bless everyone and our Joined Mission to Fight To Win Back our Life and Liberty. Bring back the Big Girl to her Core Values, The Constitution, Bill of Rights, Ten Commandments.

The core values and fundamental principles laid out for us in the U.S. Constitution that our country have general forgotten or turned away from... what made the BIG GIRL the greatest, most prosperous, nation in history. The fundamental ideas that are embodied in the United States Constitution were not put there by accident or whim. The wise men who envisioned the unique nature of our system of government were not fools. They had seen the history of other forms of government that allowed a few "ELITE" men the privilege and authority to rule over the masses. They were well aware that if they chose to follow those same failed structures of government our nation would see the same result...tyranny and oppression.

The government and mainstream media would like us to believe that the HOUSING Market is coming back. The truth is our housing market is in the worst shape it has ever been in.

According to Janna Heron of The Associated Press: "Lenders are poised to take back more homes this year than any other since the U.S. housing meltdown began in 2006. About 5 million borrowers are at least two months behind on their mortgages and industry experts say more people will miss payments because of job losses and also loans that exceed the value of the homes they are living in." This year will see the largest number of foreclosures since 2006...and all the lies, creative accounting, and propaganda won't change that. The bailout and stimulus money that was spent by our government to prevent this type of collapse was wasted. Instead of extending credit to people so they could buy a home the banks chose to keep the money and improve their bottom line...and our children will be left holding trillions of dollars in National Debt...all so the Banks could be wealthier and more powerful.

Patriots...Be the example!

Patriots, be a good example of the American dream...hard work and perseverance is all it takes to make it in this country. And it is that same hard work and perseverance that will pick our country back up after it was knocked down. 

When we talk about going back to our core values does anyone really understand what that means? I know that the Patriots who had to make something of themselves from a meager family up bringing understand it. The entrepreneurial hard working perseverance and God Fearing and God Loving message, has been so lost in the game of telephone tag that by the time that the poor kids, trying to get out of the block they were raised on, get their chance they either carry on the ENTITLEMENT LIFESTYLE they grew up in or have TOO BIG A HILL TO CLIMB AND GIVE UP. They have been shrink wrapped, bubble wrapped, and "Don't Think At All" wrapped... unless it is left hand spooned crap that they have NO IDEA OF WHAT THE AMERICAN DREAM EVEN IS OTHER THAN DANCING WITH THE STARS. AND THE STARS CREATE THE FOG SO OFF THEY GO AND FOLLOW THE KOOL AID.

Then add in the land of disenchanted, those are the ones who have worked but fell so hard and fast, down the self involvement hole to create their own human SELF NUKING, CAUGHT THE RIDE EVERY TIME BUBBLE. THEY HAVE NO EQUITY, NO MAP, NOR FLASHLIGHT AND TURNED OUT THE LIGHTS ON THE BIG GIRL BY TAKING THE DEAL FROM THE DEALER. NOW YOU ARE LEFT HOLDING EMPTY CARDS BLAMING THE ADDICTION. THEY KEEP WALKING AROUND LOOKING FOR LINES ON THE FLOOR, OR FOR THE NEXT BIG SCORE, INSTEAD OF LOOKING IN THE MIRROR AND REALIZING, "YOU STAYED TO LONG WITHOUT LOOKING, SEEING, OR HEARING DELIVERY ACCOUNTABILITY, INTEGRITY , HONESTY AND SELF PRESERVATION. 

ONE NEEDS ONLY GO TO THE MIRROR WHEN ONE HAS A COMPLAINT AND ASK AND WHAT DID I DO, HOW DID I GET HERE THIS IS NOT MY BEAUTIFUL HOUSE AND THE DAY GOES BY WATER FLOWING UNDER 

Bella's New Ride

For those of you who know Bella, or have read her book, you know her story. She began a new life in North Dakota and fought hard to get a new job in a career field she has never been in....well she got it!!! She is the first female bit girl hired in the state... and along with the new job selling big giant drill bits to oil rigs and drilling companies in North Dakota she also gets to ride in  style....BIGGIEOVERSIZEDLOVEUMCHEVYOILBOYHERTOY style. America and Energy Indepenence

The biggest problem with importing oil is it hurts our manufacturing sector...the last three or four administrations have claimed massive blocks of oil rich land and labeled them Wildlife Refuges or National parks.... don’t get me wrong...I absolutely love nature and I think it important to preserve it and the ecosystem that goes along with it. America has been high jacked by a Pathological Abuser in complete control of the country. His Agenda?…To completely Abuse everything that made this country the Great Big Girl she was. The Abuser has attacked our country so hard and damaged her so badly, she does not even recognize herself… nor do others recognize her as the Once Proud United States of America.

The Vortex of his abuse is spinning so hard now it is an hour by the hour, all out rage, angry, fight for freedom, and he is attempting to hold his ground. The arrogance and hatred will only gain momentum. The MPH are going to make everyone feel they are in a wind tunnel on hyper drive until the madness is ended and the Abuse is stopped. Return to the Constitution… Return to the principles of the Bill of rights and the Ten Commandments. Return to being God Fearing and God Loving…for The People and of The People, AMEN.

This has to be the last time we put the slick sales kid fresh out of college in the Big Chair. The fanciest power point presentation was handed to the masses and they bought it with out one question, nor one doubt…they didn't even read one word of the fine print. The faster the Vortex that the sales kid spins the harder it becomes to catch the paper trail until the deck of cards fall. Then suddenly the sales kid will run away and of course their will be no accountability.

That is what the country should fight for the most. Accountable Business minds dedicated to turning this Ship around. My passion for this runs deep. I have been in manufacturing and sales for 15 years and had ACCOUNTABILITY, FOR ANY POSITION I HELD, THAT WAS MEASURED BY PERFORMANCE AND RESULTS

Our Mission

As I look back on my last year it has truly been a life changing year for me. I truly looked in the mirror and step by step and key punch by key punch turned a 360. I have fundamentally changed, from the sub floor up, rebuilding to better my life with a commitment to make a difference for Our Big Girl (The United States of America) and help to save our country. Many of you know the story and some do not. The most important part is that at the heart of this message is one passionate driven and focused girl who is going to make her voice heard. We are at a critical point in this country. There is a real fear that if we do not stand up on our hind feet and fight for our Life we may never gain back our Life and Liberty.

We all have busy schedules and I understand. Myself I have started a new career, which is a very big learning curve for myself and with out the help of a dear friend who is driving Team Bella from the background for me, I would not be gaining the ground that I am. The goal of Team Bella is to develop a group of like minded talent to grow the force. Deliver the message and Make a Difference to Save Our Big Girl our Great Country.
